Job Description
Job Summary:
Manage the procurement of civil and architectural materials, equipment, and subcontract packages for construction projects by ensuring timely purchasing, cost-effective sourcing, and compliance with project specifications and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure civil and architectural materials, equipment, and subcontract works in line with project requirements.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and recommend suppliers.
- Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and site teams to ensure procurement meets project specifications and timelines.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor supplier performance and delivery status.
- Resolve procurement-related issues to prevent project delays.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 5–10 years of procurement experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, procurement processes, and contract terms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in SAP systems (ERP/Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
