We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team,to be based in Riyadh, KSA. Procurement Engineer supports the procurement department in sourcing materials, services, and equipment at competitive prices while ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. This role assists in vendor coordination, purchase order processing, and maintaining procurement documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations
- Compare supplier quotations (price, delivery, payment terms).
- Prepare comparison statements for management review.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery status.
- Coordinate with warehouse/site teams for material receipt.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation.
- Support vendor registration and prequalification process.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives.
- Resolve basic supplier or delivery-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering.
- 4-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience
- Basic knowledge of procurement procedures for substations/electrical equipments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
