Job Description: Procurement Executive
The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing high-quality goods and services, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing to support company operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT or technical procurement and understand strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and Evaluate Suppliers: Identify, vet, and maintain a database of reliable vendors for IT hardware, software, and office requirements.
Negotiate Terms: Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings and value.
Manage Purchase Orders: Execute the end-to-end procurement process, from issuing POs to verifying receipt of goods.
Vendor Management: Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any disputes regarding quality, pricing, or delivery delays.
Budget Alignment: Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure all procurement activities stay within departmental budgets.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare monthly reports on procurement spend and savings.
Use Tools: Utilize tools such as Zoho Books/Inventory, ERP systems, and ClickUp to track procurement workflows.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the IT or tech sector.
Strong Knowledge: Deep understanding of vendor sourcing, negotiation strategies, and market analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective professional networking.
Work Ethic: Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment with a high level of integrity.
