Job Description

The candidate should have a strong understanding of construction procurement processes and be experienced in the following:

  • Planning and assessing material requirements in coordination with site teams, including quantities, specifications, and timelines
  • Sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotations (RFQs), and comparing vendors based on price, quality, and delivery
  • Negotiating with suppliers on prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and agreements
  • Preparing LPOs, uploading them into the system, and following up on order status and payment processes
  • Preparing and organizing material lists received from site teams
  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery
  • Coordinating with inventory and site teams to maintain proper stock levels and avoid delays
  • Monitoring costs and ensuring procurement activities remain within budget
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining proper documentation and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant procurement software
