Job Description

We are hiring a Procurement Executive for a well-established diversified business group in the UAE with operations across multiple sectors, including trading, distribution, and industrial services. The organization is known for its structured procurement practices, strong governance framework, and long-standing market presence.

Location-Dubai

Experience-2+Years

Mandatory: An attested copy of the degree from both the UAE and your home country

Role Summary

Reports to Assistant Manager - Procurement

A professional who ensures cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement plan, while maintaining quality control and the Company's policies and procedures.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and propose new, improved procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms (where applicable).
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
  • Review purchase requests.
  • Review all vendor profiles and registration applications.
  • Evaluate all vendors periodically.
  • Analyze inventory reports and propose action plans.
  • Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all relevant vendor documents.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports as and when required.
  • Contribute in providing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on group procurement.
  • Undertake other duties as allocated by Manager - Procurement.
  • Research and identify potential vendors.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Review quality of purchased products.
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Experience & Knowledge (Required, Essential & Desirable)

  1. Work experience in similar line of businesses.
  2. Moderate knowledge on standard procurement procedures.
  3. Moderate knowledge in MS Office (MS Excel) & in using ERP

Abilities (Required, Essential & Desirable)

  1. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
  2. Ability to work in a team and individually.
  3. Ability to build ethical and effective relationships with all stakeholders.

Education & Skills (Required, Essential & Desirable)

  1. Holding a degree or a professional certification in procurement or supply chain.
  2. Good negotiation and networking skills
  3. Good time management and organizational skills
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
