Job Description

Required to join a Facilities Management company managing prestigious projects across KSA. The Commercial Consultant will oversee the procurement and general accounting functions for the Facilities Management service.

Responsibilities include

  • Assisting in the development of a procurement strategy,
  • Identify and reporting on any added-value opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing tender invitations and analysing the incoming financial proposals.
  • Performing risk and value management.
  • Prepare and monitor operating budgets, forecast cash-flow positions

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant subject ie Business Administration, Accounting, FM etc
  • A proven track record of working within procurement, accounting & commercial
  • The role requires an individual who is analytical, with an eye for detail, strong commercial acumen, a sound appreciation of FM processes, and an understanding of local contract/property law. The successful candidate should be able to build and maintain positive business relationships with contractors, vendors and the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the customer in the development of a procurement strategy, and ensure all procurement is executed inline with that strategy.
  • Identify and reporting on any added-value opportunities.
  • Working with other team managers to prepare tender invitations and analysing the incoming financial proposals.
  • Performing risk and value management.
  • Negotiate best -value provision of services, materials and equipment.
  • Arranging payment for completed works and service provided.
  • Prepare and monitor operating budgets, forecast cash-flow positions for the customer approval.
  • Generally, ensure funds are available to meet ongoing operational needs as agreed.
  • Work within the agreed customer policies and strategies, with cognizance of international good practice frameworks, to deliver a risk mitigated, best value FM service.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in FM finance.
  • Masters in Finance.
