Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Governance & Sourcing specialistto support global procurement governance, risk mitigation, and process optimization. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with company Global Procurement Policy, driving data-driven assessments, and supporting continuous improvement across operating companies

Key Responsibilities:

Governance, Risk & Compliance:

  • Conduct process testing and data-driven assessments of procurement transactions to identify outliers, anomalies, and control lapses, report findings to Global Lead.
  • Support development of global strategy to identify procurement-related fraud risks through data analysis and on-site audits.
  • Identify global and local process non-compliances and create action plans for closure through cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Assist in improving control framework and reporting capabilities to enhance governance and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment between OPCO processes, local policies, and Global Procurement Policy; support SOP reviews and training.
  • Cascade guidelines to OPCOs and ensure alignment with procurement policy.

Process Excellence & Optimization:

  • Establish and drive regular review of Procurement KPIs, including back testing of processes, unit prices, and savings.
  • Promote cost benchmarking, market analysis, and modeling among category managers.
  • Analyze process bottlenecks ; design and standardize procurement operations processes.
  • Partner with OPCOs for continuous improvement; back-test digital procurement systems for policy compliance.

Risk Mitigation & Sourcing Support:

  • Support global risk mitigation initiatives and cascade to local OPCOs.
  • Provide risk guidance during sourcing sprints; ensure due diligence and continuous monitoring for high-value events.
  • Conduct internal checks to test control effectiveness during sprints.
  • Monitor partner market sourcing activities to ensure risk mitigation protocols.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:

  • Develop relationships with OPCO process champions; support training and documentation for change management.
  • Identify system capabilities for effective procurement management; coordinate with stakeholders on system needs.

Experience:

  • 35 years relevant experience, with 23 years in Supply Chain Governance / Process Excellence / Procurement.
  • 13 years experience in data science (SQL, Python/R) preferred.
  • Experience working across global regions with understanding of diverse challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP technologies (Oracle, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP, Ariba).
  • Experience in continuous improvement and best practice implementation (SCM).

Certifications (Advantageous):

  • CSCP, MCIPS, PSM, Six Sigma
