Collaborate with site planning and execution teams to forecast material and service requirements based on construction schedules and BOQs.
Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with local and regional vendors for supply of project-specific materials, consumables, plant & machinery, and hired services.
Float enquiries and obtain quotations for site-level procurement; prepare comparative statements and lead negotiations to ensure best value within approved budgets.
Ensure procurement decisions align with technical specifications, delivery timelines, approved vendor lists, and comply with internal procurement policies.
Generate purchase orders and work orders in the ERP system (e.g., SAP) and follow up for timely order acknowledgment, dispatch, and documentation.
Sound understanding of construction materials, site logistics, and procurement lifecycle.
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP-MM) and Excel-based tracking tools.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with vendors and internal teams, high ownership, responsiveness, and follow-through discipline.
