We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to oversee and optimize our importing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, and supplier coordination. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure seamless product availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize operational efficiency while identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with local suppliers, international vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable supply and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage all procurement activities, imports activities, and documentations
- Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure timely product delivery.
- Collaborate with internal functions to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives and risk management strategies to enhance profitability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain or procurement or logistics
- Proficiency in using: Microsoft Excel, ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of Egyptian regulations for customs and international trade
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
