Role Description The Procurement Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at Switch's facility in KEZAD. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and packaging. The specialist oversees logistics operations such as inbound and outbound shipments, inventory monitoring, and alignment with production schedules to support continuous plant-based food manufacturing. Day-to-day tasks include tracking order status, resolving delivery issues, optimizing transportation and warehousing, and maintaining accurate procurement and logistics records. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to forecast demand, improve supply chain efficiency, and uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Orders and Procurement processes, including vendor coordination and documentation.
Candidates should possess solid Logistics Management capabilities for handling shipments and clearance process.
Candidates should have strong experience in UAE customs clearance and online portal procedures.
Candidates should possess experience in Supply Chain Management to support planning, inventory control, and continuous material availability.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, and process improvement.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and logistics partners.
Relevant experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or plant-based products is beneficial.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement software, and Excel, along with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, is advantageous.
