Job Description

The Procurement Manager is responsible for handling a wide variety of procurement and administrative duties related to civil projects, capital equipment purchases, contracting services and contract administration, and the procurement of maintenance, repair and operating services and equipment. This function supervises the staff of the Procurement Section and works closely with administrative staff.

QUALIFICATONS & EXPERIENCE Qualification(s)

Master Degree in business or engineering, economics or a related field,

Certified Public Purchasing Officer by CIPS

Certified Purchasing Professional Manager (CPPM) Experience Required

10+ year experience in procurement or purchasing

2 years in supervising the procurement functions, civil projects and purchasing

2+ year in Educational industry preferred

Experience in contract administration

Supply management software, including database management ERP

Financial analysis

Inventory management, point of sale

Procurement and project management programs and MS Office Additional Requirements

Understanding of Supply Chain Management Procedures, Logistics Skills, Strategic Planning Abilities. Language

English: fluency oral

Arabic: Essential
