About the Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. You will play a strategic role in supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement planning to support project execution and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of resources to project sites.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, track KPIs, and suggest process improvements.
- Manage procurement team activities and support their ongoing development.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Deep understanding of construction materials, equipment, and industry supply chains.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, with flexibility for a hybrid work model.
