We are currently hiring on behalf of a reputable construction company based in Riyadh, seeking a highly organized and experienced Procurement Manager. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity, ideal for professionals with a strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the construction sector.

About the Role

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. You will play a strategic role in supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement planning to support project execution and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Evaluate and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of resources to project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, track KPIs, and suggest process improvements.
  • Manage procurement team activities and support their ongoing development.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Deep understanding of construction materials, equipment, and industry supply chains.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh, with flexibility for a hybrid work model.
