Procurement Manager

Brief Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual to take on the role of Procurement Manager, responsible for overseeing purchasing operations and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services.

Responsibilities

1. Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.
2. Analyze market trends and maintain relationships with suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
3. Identify trustworthy suppliers, assess vendor proposals, and negotiate advantageous pricing and contract terms.
4. Conduct regular audits of vendor performance and address supply chain disruptions or quality concerns.
5. Develop cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality and identifying process improvement opportunities.
6. Collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives.
7. Prepare annual budgets and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to report on operational performance to management.
8. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

1. Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
2. Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
3. Strong expertise in vendor negotiation, contract management, market analysis, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
4. Demonstrated leadership qualities and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Highly organized, meticulous, and resourceful team player.
7. Self-motivated individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
