Esnad Contracting Company is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead and manage the company's procurement activities, ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials, equipment, services, and subcontractors with the required quality and cost effectiveness. The role plays a key part in supporting the successful delivery of company projects while contributing to the achievement of operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilitie
- sDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and operational plans
- .Manage the procurement of construction materials, equipment, machinery, and services required for projects and corporate operations
- .Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors while evaluating their performance on a regular basis
- .Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements to achieve the best value for the company
- .Analyze project requirements and coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, and Cost Control teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery
- .Oversee supplier and subcontractor prequalification, evaluation, and approval processes
- .Monitor procurement KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- .Track market trends and material pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic purchasing decisions
- .Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations throughout all procurement activities
- .Manage inventory levels in coordination with relevant departments to ensure material availability and minimize waste
- .Prepare periodic procurement reports and provide recommendations to senior management
- .Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to enhance performance and productivity
- .Participate in budget preparation, procurement planning, and sourcing strategies for current and future projects
