We are currently supporting a leading organization in the UAE in the appointment of a Procurement Manager (UAE National)to oversee and drive strategic procurement activities across large-scale projects and operational requirements. This role is ideal for a commercially driven procurement professional with strong experience in contracts management, vendor negotiations, and supply chain governance within EPC, utilities, infrastructure, or energy environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business and project objectives
Lead end-to-end procurement cycle including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
Manage supplier prequalification, performance evaluation, and vendor relationship strategies
Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, LDs, and risk allocation
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and UAE regulatory requirements
Oversee subcontract agreements, service contracts, and long-term supply arrangements
Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize total cost of ownership
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Project teams
Monitor procurement KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics
Support tendering activities and provide commercial input during bid preparation

UAE National (Emirati)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
8-15+ years of procurement experience with atleast 2-4 years of Managerial experience
Proven experience in EPC, infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas, or large-scale project environments
Strong background in contract negotiation and subcontract management
Knowledge of FIDIC and contract risk principles preferred
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
