Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing multi-category procurement activities across IT, Facilities Management (FM), and Professional Services. The role requires strong techno-commercial expertise, sound product knowledge, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and timely procurement aligned with organizational objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end strategic procurement activities for multiple categories including IT, Facilities Management, and Professional Services.
  • Lead techno-commercial evaluations, including vendor assessment, bid analysis, negotiations, and contract finalization
  • Develop and maintain strong product and market knowledge across assigned categories
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement support
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance standards
  • Prepare and review commercial documents, purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial issues effectively

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred)
  • Additional qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or commercial management are an advantage

EXPERIENCE

  • 68 years of relevant experience in multi-category procurement
  • Proven experience in handling techno-commercial procurement for IT, FM, and Professional Services
  • Candidates from service provider organizations are not suitable for this role

SKILLS

  • Strong techno-commercial and analytical skills, expertise in Procurement platforms like SAP ARIBA or GEP SMART or COUPAorIvalua is a must. Experience in procurement ERP like MS Dynamics.
  • Good understanding of products, specifications, and commercial terms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple categories and priorities effectively

PREFERRED INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience working with a Real Estate/Retail company is strongly preferred
