Procurement Officer (Healthcare Sector)

We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals while ensuring compliance, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase request through delivery

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors

Ensure medical products meet required specifications and regulatory standards

Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery

Coordinate with medical and operational departments to assess requirements

Prepare procurement reports and cost analyses

Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock

Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations

Manage supplier contracts, agreements, and performance

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment procurement

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills

Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Strong communication and coordination skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of procurement experience is mandatory, preferably within the medical or healthcare sector.
