We're seeking a Procurement Officer to join our growing Procurement team here at our head office in Al Quoz, Dubai. You should be an experienced industry professional, with experience in maintaining relationships, evaluating suppliers and ensuring the cost-effective purchase of goods. You will operate in a cost-effective manner while ensuring the quality and timeliness of delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact business operations
- Managing plans for stock levels and liaising with Sales Team to ensure supply meets demand thru reports and sales forecast
- Maintain records of Purchases, pricing, Payment terms summary, and other important data
- Review and analyse vendors/suppliers supply and price options and negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
- Negotiate with vendor for potential alternative solutions in case of shortages or longer lead time
- Maintain and update a list of Suppliers and the contact persons
- Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Working closely with the inside sales support for the availability of information and other related documentation and details required by the customers
- Coordinates with the Logistics Manager for the shipment arrangements for Inbound
- Tracking and monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Communicates with the order processing for the order fulfilment and ETA status
- Prepares and submits a sell-out report
- Submits Invoices to Accounts for payment Processing
- Review the Stock Ageing report and send it out to the Brand Managers
- Monitors Stock Rotation and Item Registration
- Prepares costing upon request
Education, Experience, and Key Requirements:
- Bachelor/ Diploma/Relevant degree/certification
- Must have 4-5 years of experience in Procurement field
- Experience in import, export and direct procurement
- Highly organized, proactive and a team player.
- Should have knowledge of ERP system
- Excellent verbal and written communication are required.
- Must be familiar with English, professional.
