Our client is currently hiring for the position of Procurement Officer.
Responsibilities:
. Plan and manage the procurement of materials, goods, and services required for flour manufacturing operations.
. Source and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure high-quality products and competitive pricing.
. Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify opportunities for new supplier partnerships.
. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
. Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and goods to meet production schedules.
. Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
. Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure proper inventory management
. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
