About the Role:
A leading UAE-based Real Estate Developer is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its Dubai office. The role involves managing procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, equipment, and subcontract services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to prepare procurement plans.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Prepare comparative statements and recommend vendors for management approval.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contract terms.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets.
- Maintain procurement documentation and records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 510 years of procurement experience within construction or real estate development companies.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontract procurement.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and consultants in the UAE market.
- Good negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
