Job Description
Our client is a leading technology company based in Dubai, specializing in delivering innovative IT solutions and services to businesses across the region. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Procurement Officer to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure IT hardware, software, and accessories based on business needs.
Contact and coordinate with authorized vendors, distributors, and brand partners for quotations, pricing, and stock availability.
Compare quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Manage procurement documentation, maintain a supplier database, and track purchase orders efficiently.
Follow up on orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term business goals.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (IT, Finance, Operations) to confirm requirements and ensure smooth order execution.
Monitor inventory levels and support restocking processes according to project demands.
Stay informed about IT market trends, product launches, and pricing developments.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement within an IT company (UAE experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of IT products, brands, and suppliers.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/procurement software.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
