Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international switchgear suppliers and distributors to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials.
- Technical Alignment: Partner with Engineering and Production teams to understand material specifications and ensure all purchased items comply with strict technical requirements.
- Order & Inventory Management: Process PRs/POs, track critical materials, resolve delivery delays, and work with stores to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- End-to-End Tracking: Follow up closely with suppliers to meet tight project deadlines and proactively resolve any supply chain bottlenecks.
- Documentation: Maintain impeccable, audit-ready procurement files and records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Technical Experience: Minimum of 3 years of mandatory procurement experience specifically within Switchgear products. You must understand switchgear parameters and internal panel components.
- Systems & Software: Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is compulsory.
- Market Knowledge: Established network and knowledge of switchgear suppliers/distributors in the UAE market.
- Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
