Job Description
Manage end-to-end procurement activities for project and product operational requirements, ensuring competitive sourcing, timely delivery, commercial compliance, and effective supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full procurement cycle from PR, RFQ, technical/commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO placement, and supplier follow-up.
- Source and evaluate local and international suppliers.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, scope of work, and supplier offers in coordination with Engineering and Project teams
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery, Incoterms, warranty, and other commercial conditions.
- Support project teams in meeting procurement schedules, budgets, and delivery requirements.
- Manage PO amendments, expediting, supplier delays, and commercial issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier qualification and development.
- Hands on knowledge of local E-invoicing & ECAS regulations.
- Identify cost-saving and alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval requirements, contracts, and audit controls.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Finance, Quality, and other internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering – preferably Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline, 5–7 years of procurement experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, EPC, automation, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Strong project procurement experience within UAE/GCC preferred.
- CIPS or similar professional qualification is an advantage.
- Strong technical understanding of engineering materials, equipment, and specifications.
- Project procurement and supplier management.
- RFQ and commercial evaluation.
- Contract and Incoterms knowledge.
- Cost analysis and price benchmarking.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
