Procurement Officer – Luxury Hotel Construction
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking a high-caliber Procurement Officer with proven experience in luxury hotel construction to join a leading main contractor in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, resilient, highly organized, and an excellent communicator, with strong hands-on SAP experience and the ability to operate effectively in a demanding, fast-track project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement of construction materials, FF&E-related packages, MEP, finishes, specialist works, and services.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best cost, quality, and delivery.
- Ensure procurement is fully aligned with project specifications, budgets, and construction schedules.
- Manage long-lead and critical items proactively, identifying and mitigating supply risks.
- Work closely with Project, Commercial, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, and Finance teams.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reporting, and controls through SAP/ERP.
- Drive cost optimization and maintain strong supplier performance throughout the project.
Ideal Candidate
- 5–8+ years of procurement experience with a major main contractor.
- Proven experience on luxury hotels, 5-star hospitality, high-end residential, or similarly high-specification projects.
- Strong knowledge of hotel construction materials, high-end finishes, MEP and specialist packages.
- Strong hands-on SAP experience is essential.
- Excellent negotiation, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Smart, proactive, resilient, and highly accountable, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver against demanding project timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
