Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement / Parts Officer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing procurement processes, sourcing and purchasing parts, evaluating and negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of OEM, OE & aftermarket / used parts for German / European mainly BMW, AUDI & MERCEDES and American cars (Landrover, Range Rover). Daily duties include creating RFQs, POs, maintaining inventory levels, and analyzing supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies and preparing of estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase high-quality genuine, OEM, and aftermarket parts for premium vehicles, specifically German & American brands.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, dealers, and wholesalers across Dubai and Sharjah.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts to support workshop operations and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Verify the accuracy of parts received, including quality, quantity, and compatibility.
- Coordinate with the Service Advisors and Technicians to clarify part requirements and specifications.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement efficient stock management practices to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Resolve any issues related to incorrect, defective, or delayed parts shipments.
- Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Qualifications
- Minimum3 years of experienceas a Parts Purchaser or in a similar procurement role within theUAE automotive industry(Dubai/Sharjah experience mandatory).
- Having a driving license + a car is a plus
- Must have proven knowledgeof sourcing parts for German premium cars/American cars
- Strong network of local suppliers and dealers in Dubai and Sharjah.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory management software).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain or automotive fields is a plus.
