Job Description

Job Overview:

The Procurement Planning role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining procurement plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This position collaborates closely with internal departments and procurement teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and operational requirements. It involves regular reporting on procurement progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and any issues that may affect project timelines or budgets. Additionally, the role requires awareness of local content regulations, along with monitoring and reporting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage procurement plans in alignment with project timelines and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure that procurement planning complies with internal policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, track, and report on procurement KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of effective procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate with finance and project teams to align procurement activities with approved budgets.
  • Maintain close coordination with all stakeholders to ensure full alignment of procurement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and promptly highlight any major issues requiring management attention.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement ERP, processes, and practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the real estate industry and its specific procurement needs.
  • Demonstrate awareness of local content requirements, including monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Desirable to have CIPS, CSCP, CPSM or an equivalent certification.
  • 6+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
