Job Description

Role Objectives:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for assisting in procurement activities, conducting supplier research, preparing purchase orders, analyzing pricing proposals, maintaining procurement records, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers through research and evaluation.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze pricing proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational needs.
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent time management skills.
