Job Purpose:
To execute and follow up procurement activities related to construction materials, equipment, and operational services for the project, ensuring timely purchasing, cost efficiency, and compliance with project requirements and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and operational requirements related to infrastructure and construction projects.
- Review purchase requests from site teams and verify specifications and quantities.
- Source approved suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and submit recommendations.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders according to company procedures.
- Follow up deliveries and ensure materials arrive on time to the project site.
- Coordinate with project teams and warehouse staff regarding procurement requirements.
- Follow up supplier invoices and coordinate with the finance department.
- Maintain updated supplier database and pricing records.
- Monitor local market prices and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement, quality, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure companies.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and suppliers within Saudi Arabia.
- Experience using ERP systems and procurement software.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- Good English communication skills are preferred.
