Position Purpose
We are looking for a
Procurement Category Specialist Food to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of assigned food categories, ensure efficient processing of purchase orders, and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage allocated food categories effectively.
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in line with procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with suppliers, store managers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement guidelines and avoid unnecessary cash/card purchases.
- Collaborate with store managers to set and monitor par levels and food stock requirements.
- Support in executing RFQs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist with supplier challenges and improve procurement processes.
- Achieve savings in line with annual KPIs and procurement strategies.
- Complete month-end procurement duties accurately and on time.
- Provide regular updates and highlight any concerns to the Procurement Lead Food.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Background in Procurement or Supply Chain is preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmen
