We are looking for a Procurement Specialist – MEP Spare Parts & Facility Management to join our team, He is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and purchasing goods and services that meet the company's operational requirements. This role ensures cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement of materials and services
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on Requests for Quotations (RFQs), purchase orders, and procurement contracts
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments (finance, operations, logistics, etc.) to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery
- Support cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation
- Stay updated on market trends, new products, and changes in supplier landscapes
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Qualifications and Experienc
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in spare parts procurement
- Experience in Facility Management procurement activities
- Experience in spare parts agreement
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Maximo and Oracle
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Very Good in English
- Experience in procurement across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus
- Experience in spare parts procurement
- Experience in Facility Management procurement activities
- Bilingual abilities may be required depending on location or vendor geography
