Job Description

Our Client

A high-growth player in the premium meat and seafood space. Focused on delivering quality to fine dining, gourmet retail, and high-end foodservice clients across the region. They are investing in global sourcing and need someone with deep roots in the seafood world.

Your Role

We're hiring a Procurement specialist for global seafood sourcing. Someone who can tell their yellowfin from their bluefin and has built real supply chains, not just PowerPoint decks.

You will take full ownership of premium seafood procurement. That means tracking price swings, planning around catch seasonality, managing supplier performance, and making sure the cold chain never breaks. Reporting to the COO, you'll work hand-in-hand with sales and commercial teams to deliver quality and margins.

What you'll do

Source high-grade seafood globally with an eye on quality, sustainability, and shelf readiness

Negotiate with suppliers in key markets like Japan, Norway, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, and Chile

Monitor global stock trends, price indices, and shipping timelines to stay ahead of market shifts

Plan procurement cycles to avoid stockouts and overstocking across SKUs

Work closely with internal teams to support customer demand and category expansion

Build strong supplier relationships and create resilience in the supply network

Ensure all sourcing complies with food safety, traceability, and cold chain protocols

Must Have

7 to 10 years of experience in premium seafood sourcing and procurement

Active supplier relationships in Japan, Iceland, Norway, Vietnam, Thailand, Chile, and Canada

Strong understanding of seafood seasonality, product specs, and certifications

Commercial acumen to negotiate deals that balance quality and margin

Excellent planning and tracking skills, especially with perishable categories

Fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage

Based in Dubai or willing to work remotely with regular international supplier coordination

Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Master's is a plus
