Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Specialist, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, conducting contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders to assess procurement needs, developing efficient sourcing strategies, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating and managing Purchase Orders to ensure timely procurement
- Experience in Supplier Evaluation and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Skilled in Contract Negotiation and securing favorable terms
- Strong Analytical Skills and a detail-oriented mindset to evaluate costs and supplier performance
- Familiarity with Procurement principles and best practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and related tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in procurement or supply chain is highly advantageous
