Job Title: Procurement Supervisor – FMCG
Location: Industrial Area - October
Job Summary
Manage the end-to-end procurement of raw materials and imported spare parts by identifying the best sourcing options, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and coordinating timely deliveries to support uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials from both local and international suppliers based on quality, cost, availability, and lead time.
- Manage the procurement of all spare parts from international suppliers outside Egypt.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure a sustainable and competitive supply base.
- Prepare and analyze quotations and commercial proposals to support supplier selection.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, Incoterms, and contracts to achieve the best commercial value.
- Issue purchase orders and manage the procurement process from requisition through final delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time shipment and delivery of materials and spare parts according to business requirements.
- Coordinate with Logistics, Planning, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement and import processes.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery or quality issues, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Prepare procurement reports, including purchasing activities, supplier performance, spend analysis, savings, and delivery performance.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information within the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs, improve supplier performance, and reduce supply risks.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable import/export regulations.

Job specifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Postgraduate diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement is an advantage.
- 8–12 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, ideally within FMCG or process manufacturing (12 years is the ceiling)
- Proven experience in international/import procurement (spare parts, machinery components, and raw materials)
- Fluent English (written and spoken) — mandatory for international supplier negotiation and documentation
- Ability to travel within Egypt to visit suppliers, manufacturing sites, and business partners as required.
