Job Description

Job Purpose

Leads procurement and transportation operations in line with the Logistics Department and the company's strategic direction. Ensures efficient execution of the procurement process, including needs calculation, PR and PO issuance and follow-up, delivery and shipment monitoring, and material reception. Optimizes the use of company fleet and transportation providers, monitors transportation budgets, proposes cost-reduction initiatives, and optimizes transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries with high service standards and customer satisfaction.

Job Accountabilities

Needs Calculation & Purchasing Execution

Leads MRP calculations and defines monthly copper requirements, adjusting hedged quantities to meet inventory coverage targets. Performs weekly needs calculations for insulation and masterbatch. Issues, records, and follows up purchase requisitions and purchase orders in the information system and with suppliers.

Supplier Delivery Follow-up

Follows up deliveries and shipments of raw materials, consumables, and packaging. Monitors supplier service performance and takes corrective actions to meet delivery time and quantity targets. Prepares supplier performance indicators (OTIF) and communicates results to the Purchasing Department.

Transportation Coordination

Coordinates with transportation providers and resolves delivery, scheduling, and dispatching issues through effective and timely communication. Ensures on-time deliveries while optimizing transportation flows and routes.

Shipment & Customs Clearance

Oversees shipment processes and transportation of raw materials and finished goods. Leads and coordinates customs clearance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Packaging Management

Ensures effective packaging balance with customers, including spools, conipacks, reels, and pallets.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Prepares, communicates, and reviews Procurement and Transportation KPIs. Defines and implements continuous improvement plans for processes, procedures, and systems in line with Logistics Department and company objectives.

Additional Responsibilities

Performs other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested.

Compliance

Complies with Quality and EHS System requirements, corporate values, code of conduct, and non-disclosure agreements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

Proven experience in warehouse operations at least 2–3 years.
