Role Description

Procurementexperienced in Building Material Products (MEP), including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and A/C products. The role requires strong relationships with suppliers, dealers, and distributors to manage procurement and sales efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, dealers, and distributors to secure pricing and open credit accounts.

Conduct market research and manage inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries.

Prepare LPOs, track procurement data, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Coordinate with accounts for timely payments and strengthen supplier partnerships.

Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and industry best practices.

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers, focusing on pricing, terms, and conditions to maximize value for the organization.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and establish effective communication channels.

Maintain accurate records of procurement processes, including contracts, agreements, and supplier performance metrics.

Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate procurement risks and ensure continuity of supply.

Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions and anticipate potential supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Experience in the electrical supplies industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
