Product Analyst

A skilled Finance Product Analyst is sought to collaborate with Product Management, Technical Teams, and Business Stakeholders to translate business needs into system requirements for reporting solutions. The role focuses on sustainable product delivery and increasing user adoption.
This position plays a key role in requirements gathering, documentation, clarification with technical teams, testing, and release of solutions to end users. Training delivery may also be required where appropriate.
English language is an essential requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, contributing to effort estimation
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Managers to validate process compliance, with a focus on simplification and standardisation
- Identify and assess role-level security requirements in collaboration with Development and Access/Risk Control teams
- Coordinate UI/UX design with relevant experts or vendors; align proposals with business stakeholders and support A/B testing where applicable
- Document new functionalities and maintain a repository of country-specific requirements
- Proactively identify performance and usability gaps through analysis of user and regional feedback, providing clear recommendations for improvement
- Advise business teams on current and future finance reporting capabilities; anticipate needs and identify proof-of-concept opportunities
- Support the creation and maintenance of the product backlog alongside Product Management, Solution Architecture, and Development leads
- Evaluate user story delivery as part of a DevOps team environment
- Support the full solution lifecycle, including alignment with dependent systems, services, and platforms
- Participate in cross-functional and cross-stream discussions to define technical requirements aligned with business objectives
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in finance reporting
- Strong ability to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience collaborating with development teams to deliver business-driven solutions
- Experience supporting or leading complex projects, ideally involving customer-facing or consumer-focused solutions
- Knowledge of Agile/Scaled Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Strong understanding of finance processes within a commercial or FMCG environment
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
Desirable:
- Certifications in SAP BW, Power BI, or SAFe Agile
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools and finance data platforms
