About the role
- As the Product Design Manager for eshara, you will lead product definition and design execution for SATCOM terminal solutions, ensuring products are robust, manufacturable, and ready for integration, test, and acceptance.
- You will translate mission and platform needs into product roadmaps and engineering requirements, collaborating closely across RF/antenna, mechanical, and testing & integration streams.
What you'll do
- Own product requirements, architecture, and roadmap for SATCOM terminals and localized subsystems.
- Lead design governance: design reviews, requirement traceability, and technical documentation standards.
- Ensure design for integration and design for test readiness to support repeatable system validation and platform acceptance.
- Maintain controlled product baselines to enable predictable build, integration, and release cycles.
- Partner with Delivery and Engineering leads to drive concepttoproduction readiness and align design decisions with program milestones and stakeholder needs
What we're looking for
- 10+ years in product/system design leadership for SATCOM/telecom/defense electronics.
- Strong systems mindset (requirements design verification/validation).
- Proven ability to lead multidiscipline engineering teams through product maturity milestones.
- Demonstrated experience driving requirements discipline, interfaces, and documentation for integration and acceptance readiness.
- Experience delivering designs that transition cleanly from prototype to production/industrialization.
- Familiarity with operating in regulated or missioncritical environments where evidence and configuration control are essential.
