Job Description

Take a website from a blank canvas to a live, published product, and make it look as though it belongs to a group building the future. This role suits someone who is as comfortable shipping a live site as designing one.

What you will be doing

Design and build our websites and apps, start to finish

  • Direct the creative vision behind websites, landing pages, and campaign pages, ensuring they are aesthetically exceptional and commercially effective, not simply attractive
  • Take projects from wireframe to high-fidelity mockup to interactive prototype using Figma, Adobe XD, Framer, or similar, then carry them through to a fully published, live site
  • Design mobile applications end to end, delivering intuitive, on-brand iOS and Android experiences from concept through to production-ready specifications
  • Ship live sites using modern design-to-publish and design-to-code tools such as Framer, Figma Sites and Make, Webflow, or AI-to-code tools like v0, Lovable, and Bolt, so that what you design is what goes live
  • Keep every site and app consistent and responsive across devices, resolutions, and screen sizes
  • Build sites that are fast and easy to find, with strong Core Web Vitals, clean semantic markup, and on-page SEO built in from the start
  • Build and maintain a component-based design system so that pages and screens ship faster without losing consistency
  • Design motion content and animated web banners that add polish without slowing load times, using Rive and, where appropriate, After Effects or Lottie

Build the visual identity of a multi-brand group

  • Own and evolve a premium visual identity across K2 and its ventures, including logos, sub-brand marks, colour palettes, typography, and visual tone
  • Design original icons, buttons, and UI assets that feel considered rather than templated
  • Produce marketing and sales materials, including brochures, one-pagers, roll-ups, white papers, presentations, and animated web banners
  • Build and maintain professional PowerPoint templates so that every deck looks as though it belongs to the same company

Work to a modern standard

  • Work in an AI-native way, end to end, using tools such as Figma AI and Make, Claude, Google Stitch, Midjourney, and Adobe Firefly across ideation, asset generation, and production, without compromising originality or craft
  • Ship AI-assisted work rather than simply prototyping with it, taking AI-generated drafts all the way to production-ready, on-brand output
  • Develop sites and apps to completion, so that what you designed is what ships, supported by production-ready assets and clear specifications
  • Support colleagues and stakeholders across countries and brands with design requests of every size

Design bilingually, for the region (bonus)

  • Design and build in both English and Arabic, including right-to-left (RTL) layout, typography, and composition
  • Ensure the experience feels native in both languages rather than translated on top

Produce brand assets across the Group

  • Execute and produce brand identity assets across all Group concepts, both digital and physical, from menus, packaging, signage, decals, and uniforms through to presentations and in-venue materials
  • Produce digital assets for social media, campaigns, launch communications, and web support
  • Prepare production-ready artwork for both print and digital application
  • Maintain organised, version-controlled asset libraries across all brands

Keep every brand consistent, everywhere

  • Apply approved visual identity systems consistently across all deliverables, covering layout, composition, typography, imagery, and visual language
  • Work directly from approved concept books and brand guidelines
  • Support the enforcement and maintenance of brand standards across all formats and locations
  • Flag inconsistencies or missing brand assets before they become a problem

Bonus: design for touchscreens and embedded displays

  • Design UI for desktop control applications on large touchscreen displays and embedded interfaces on smaller screens
  • Design for real-world conditions, including outdoor readability, touchscreen usability, and high-contrast environments
  • Apply the same design-system thinking across mobile, desktop, and embedded touchpoints

What you bring

Design and craft

  • Experience designing and shipping websites and mobile apps, from concept and wireframe through to a fully published, live product
  • A portfolio that shows real website and app work, along with range across brand systems and marketing materials
  • Strong fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop, with After Effects as a bonus
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including template design

Build and ship

  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern design-to-publish or design-to-code platform, such as Framer, Figma Sites, Webflow, or AI-to-code tools like v0, Lovable, or Bolt
  • Solid web fundamentals, including responsive and HTML/CSS thinking, performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility (WCAG), and on-page SEO
  • A measurement mindset, with familiarity in GA4 and basic A/B testing, so that commercial effectiveness is measured rather than assumed
  • Motion for the web using Rive, and optionally After Effects or Lottie

AI-native workflow

  • Genuine, working fluency with AI design tools, not merely curiosity. You use them to ship, across ideation, imagery (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly), and production
  • Confidence taking AI-generated drafts through to polished, on-brand, production-ready work

Region and languages

  • The ability to design bilingual English and Arabic experiences, including RTL layout, or a strong willingness to learn it

Ways of working

  • Experience producing brand assets across both digital and physical touchpoints, and keeping a large, multi-brand asset library organised and version-controlled
  • An eye for detail and brand consistency, paired with a structured approach to managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • A collaborative, proactive, and service-minded attitude, since you will be designing across countries and brands, where flexibility matters

Why K2

You will shape how people see and interact with genuinely next-generation technology for a company operating at the edge of what comes next. If you want your design work to feel as though it is building the future rather than decorating it, this is that role.
