Job Summary:
The Product Designer is responsible for designing intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. The role involves understanding user needs, translating them into meaningful design solutions, and ensuring seamless interaction, usability, and visual consistency while aligning with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Responsibilities:
- Design user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for mobile and web applications.
- Conduct and analyze user insights, feedback, and behavior to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to align design outcomes with objectives.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
- Ensure adherence to usability standards, accessibility guidelines, and mobile platform design principles.
- Present design concepts, explain design rationale, and incorporate stakeholder feedback.
- Continuously explore design innovations, tools, and best practices to enhance user experience quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in applied arts, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design for mobile and/or web applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work from research to the final UI
- Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma is our primary tool)
- Solid understanding of mobile design patterns (iOS and Android) is a MUST
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems
- Ability to articulate design rationale and present work to stakeholders
- Experience working closely with engineering/product teams is essential.
- Ability to articulate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to design-to-code tools or basic front-end understanding.
- Familiarity with React Native or mobile development constraints.
- Experience designing community, service, or platform-based applications.
- Background in user research or service design.
