Job Description

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the role will be to execute the plan for the features and roadmap of our app and be in charge of fulfilling all tasks related to the app's development, aiming to maximize its potential and maturity through evaluating viability of new projects and ensure satisfying user needs and solving potential problems.

Responsible of 5 Key Scopes: 1. Product Development & UI/UX Strategy 2. Product Curation & Improvement 3. Team Management 4. Product & Feature Partnerships 5. Cross-functional Collaboration

Responsibilities:

1. Product Development & UI/UX Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive product development strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

- Manage the conduction of market research and analysis to identify new product opportunities and trends.

- Set a commercial budget required to implement product roadmap and ensure alignment and approval of needed budget.

- Collaborate with the team subordinates to define product roadmaps and prioritize development projects.

- Ensure that product development projects are executed efficiently and within budget.

- Set the product UI/UX roadmap and ensure constant monitoring of industry practices and trends to maintain a relevant platform.

- Collaborate with UI/UX team members to establish a well-developed platform interface and ensure the best-in-class user experience.

2. Product Curation and Improvement:

- Oversee the curation and maintenance of existing commercial products, ensuring they remain competitive and meet customer needs.

- Develop a solid curation strategy based upon best practices in the market and ensure full board alignment with internal stakeholders to deliver the best possible user experience

- Conduct regular product performance analysis, gather customer feedback, and work with the team to identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including marketing and operations) to gather insights and incorporate them into product enhancements.

- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform product curation strategies.

3. Team Management:

- Manage Sports/TV consultants and ensure leading and monitoring consultant performance, in addition to determining contract duration and extension if needed.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

- Set clear goals and objectives for the team and regularly evaluate performance against targets.

- Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development and growth.

- Coordinate & delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that workload is distributed evenly within the team.

4. Product & Feature Partnerships:

- Evaluate the compatibility and value of potential partners based on their expertise, resources, and market presence.

- Identify partnership opportunities with potential vendors and assess potential impact of each opportunity.

- Initiate contact and build strong relationships with potential partners, including suppliers, manufacturers, technology providers, and industry influencers.

- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring clear terms and conditions.

- Regularly assess the effectiveness and impact of partnerships on product development and curation efforts.

- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of each partnership.

- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review partnership agreements, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

- Work with the sales team to provide product training, sales support materials, and assist in closing deals.

- Foster strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and suppliers to support product development and curation efforts.

Qualifications & Experience:

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

- Minimum of 7+ years of prior work experience in the development and management of digital apps.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficient in using productivity tools and software related to app management.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow within the app development field.

- Proficiency in both English and Arabic languages is necessary for effective communication and collaboration.

- Proven ability to identify and analyze problems related to app development and find effective solutions.

- Strong critical thinking skills to assess challenges and make informed decisions.

- Demonstrated track record of troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the app development process.

- A passion for innovation and staying up to date with the latest app trends and technologies.

- Creative thinking skills to drive new ideas and features that enhance user experience and engagement.

- Ability to explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure the app stands out in the market.

- Attention to detail and a keen eye for user experience to ensure the app is user-friendly and intuitive.

- Ability to lead a team and coordinate efforts between team members to reach an optimal outcome
