Job Title: Product Dictionary Executive / Master File Executive

Role Overview

The Product Dictionary Executive is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the Product Dictionary (Master File). This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality data by validating product information, identifying new products and SKUs, and coordinating closely with Field team and Retail stakeholders. The role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Dictionary & Master File Management

  • Validate and regularly update the Product Dictionary (Master File) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review, clean, and consolidate Type-In entries from both Other Brands and Named Brands.
  • Verify product details using photos, ensuring correct mapping of Brand, SKU, pack size, and category.
  • Ensure products are correctly classified within relevant categories (e.g., avoiding misclassification such as cakes or biscuits under chocolate).

New Product & SKU Identification

  • Identify and validate new brands, new products, and new SKUs for existing brands.
  • Collect detailed information on new product launches from multiple sources, including retail chains, field teams, and Panelists.
  • Track and update changes in product specifications, packaging, and variants over time.

Retail & Market Engagement

  • Store visits will help to o identify new products across categories.
  • Collect and update product, brand, and SKU information directly from retail outlets.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, category developments, and new launches.

What You'll Bring to Numerator

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in English (reading and writing); Arabic proficiency is required.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in panel, retail, market research, or similar environments is preferred.
  • Comfortable interacting with people, including field teams, and internal stakeholders.
