Some of Egypt's largest and most prestigious organizations run their daily correspondence on Tarasol — official communication, approvals, and decisions moving through a platform that has to be right every working day. Own its architecture, code quality, and engineering delivery — and lead the build of the next-generation Tarasol from the ground up, while keeping the current platform strong. This is a hands-on lead seat: you write code, review code, make the architectural calls, and raise the bar of the engineers around you.

What you'll do

• Own Tarasol's technical architecture end-to-end — services, persistence, integrations, security, deployment topology.
• Lead the design and build of the next-generation Tarasol — while overseeing the platform customers run today.
• Personally implement the most critical components and review every line that ships.
• Convert product requirements into engineering plans — and push back on requirements that are not ready.
• Design for configurability over custom forks across a multi-tenant enterprise customer base.
• Mentor engineers and set the code-review and quality standard.
• Set the AI-assisted engineering standard — tools like Copilot, Claude Code, and Cursor in daily use.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of software engineering, with 3+ at senior or lead level on enterprise B2B software products.
• Strong backend Depth with full-stack capability across Node.js, Angular, React, MS SQL Server, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Personal architecture ownership of an enterprise web application — decisions you can defend.
• Production experience with multi-tenant, secure, high-load systems — and a real performance-troubleshooting story.
• AI engineering tools as part of your daily workflow.
• Arabic and English professional fluency; on-site Cairo.
