Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Product Manager to join a multinational medical devices company in Dubai. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and being accountable for short-to-medium term strategic marketing and operational plans for the assigned portfolio. This role combines strong customer-facing responsibilities with strategic marketing to achieve revenue, profit, and market share objectives. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and customers to ensure the successful positioning and adoption. The role is customer-facing, requiring a deep understanding of market dynamics and stakeholder engagement
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Tactical Planning:
- Implement the tactical plan aligned with corporate objectives and market needs
- Develop annual strategic marketing/operational plans, outlining key activities, marketing programs, and budgets
- Monitor planning progress, analyze gaps, and propose corrective actions
- Recommend 1–3-year strategic options
Customer-Facing Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare providers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Conduct product training, presentations, and demonstrations to customers, ensuring optimal understanding and use of the assigned portfolio.
- Gather customer insights to identify unmet needs and feed them into strategic planning
- Provide post-training support and follow-up with healthcare providers to ensure successful product adoption
Market Development:
- Proactively identify market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Conduct relevant market research and apply findings to product positioning.
- Utilize health economic data and models to strengthen product value propositions.
Product Champion:
- Be recognized as the Product Champion by continuously updating knowledge of the therapeutic area, market dynamics, and product functionalities
- Develop and adapt promotional materials for local markets, ensuring alignment with brand strategy
Collaboration & Internal Stakeholders:
- Partner with META Marketing teams to ensure alignment and leverage regional expertise.
- Align and communicate effectively with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Finance teams
- Set short-term tactical action plans for the field force, including defining messages, materials, and visit strategies
Financial & Performance Management:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against KPIs
- Drive successful product launches with clear KPIs and follow-up measures
- Evaluate and optimize promotional plans for business impact and ROI.
Customer Insights & Innovation:
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer's experience and challenges
- Work closely with customers to uncover innovative solutions to drive product performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Marketing, or Business).
- 3-5 years in Product Management and Sales within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strategic Marketing: Ability to develop, implement, and monitor short-to-medium term strategic marketing plans
- Operational Excellence: Strong planning, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Market Knowledge: Advanced understanding of OR/ICU Environment market dynamics, health systems, and customer segmentation is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities and budgets while achieving operational goals
- Customer Focus: Proven ability to develop strong customer relationships and deliver training/demos tailored to customer needs
- Track record of addressing customer pain points and driving solutions
- Skilled in leveraging customer insights to develop impactful product strategies
- Awareness of country-specific regulations and market access strategies
- Advanced proficiency in presentation skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
