Responsibilities
As a Treasury Product Manager, you will act as a bridge between business and technology teams. You will develop a deep understanding of fund allocation, liquidity management, and reconciliation workflows, translating them into practical and scalable system solutions. You will be responsible for the product planning and project execution of treasury-related modules within the Finance middle-office systems.
- Treasury System Development
- Lead the product planning and design of Bybit's Treasury Management System (TMS) and related financial middle- and back-office systems, including but not limited to liquidity monitoring, cross-platform fund transfers, automated reconciliation, and settlement logic optimization.
- Streamline and redesign treasury workflows by automating manual processes (e.g., manual entries, Excel-based reconciliation) to achieve systemization, automation, and visualizationenhancing operational efficiency and security.
- Cross-Functional Product Design
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance Department and Technology Teams, collecting and analyzing user requirements and producing high-quality Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and business process flows.
- Work closely with core exchange business lines (Spot, Derivatives,Lending, etc.) to ensure the treasury system accurately supports business fund flows and complex front-end logic (e.g., margin, loan repayment, funding rate calculations).
- Project Management and Delivery
- Lead the full product lifecycle from from 0 to 1 and through iterative improvements, collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to define milestones, track progress, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate data integration and interface alignment between existing internal systems (such as the trading engine, wallet, and ERP) and treasury systems.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Computer Science, Information Management, or related fields.
- 5+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years focusing on financial back-office systems (e.g., treasury, payment, clearing, or accounting systems) or post-trade exchange systems. Experience at a top-tier cryptocurrency exchange is a plus.
Professional Skills
- Familiar with core exchange business including Spot, Derivatives, Margin, and Lending products.
- Solid knowledge of treasury and liquidity management; familiarity with banking/fintech liquidity concepts preferred. Understanding of wallet and gas fee models is a plus.
- Proficient with Figma, XMind, and experienced in SQL/data analysis; capable of effective communication on data structures and API integration with technical teams.
Soft Skills
- Fluent in Chinese and English (used as working languages; approx. 70% Chinese, 30% English).
- Fast learner with strong passion for the cryptocurrency industry and innovative financial models.
- Strong sense of ownership, clear logic, and proactive problem-solving ability in multi-tasking environments; accountable for results and delivery.
