Job Description

Basharsoft, the company behind Egypt and MENA's leading hiring platforms Wuzzuf, Forasna, iCareer, and Recruitera, is building something new. We're launching a new product from the ground up, a video-first social network for professionals across the globe, mainly, North America and Europe.

This is a 0→1 build. If you thrive in ambiguity, love owning things end-to-end, and want your work to matter from day one, this is for you.

The Opportunity
Most PMMs inherit a category, a positioning doc, and a playbook someone else built. You'll have none of that, and that's exactly the point. This product is pre-PMF, moving fast, and building something the professional world doesn't have a clean name for yet. You'll be the first marketing voice on the team. The story you write, the positioning you define, and the launches you own will be the foundation this product's brand is built on.

The Role
As the first Product Marketing Manager on this new product, you own the answer to: who is this for, why does it matter, why now, and why us You translate product decisions into narratives that resonate with professionals, experts, and community builders. You design and execute every go-to-market motion, from a single feature launch to platform-level positioning.
This is a full-stack PMM role at an early-stage product inside an established company. You'll do the research, write the messaging, build the launch plans, create the content, ship the assets, and measure the results. You'll work closely with the product team, shaping direction, not just describing it.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the product's core positioning, define who it's for, what problem it solves, and why it solves it differently
  • Develop and maintain a living messaging framework that evolves as you learn what resonates
  • Translate product complexity into simple, human narratives across landing pages, onboarding flows, emails, social posts, and pitch decks
  • Test and iterate on messaging continuously through experiments, user interviews, and activation data
  • Ensure consistent voice across every channel and touchpoint
  • Own GTM strategy and execution for every product launch, from brief to post-launch retrospective
  • Build cross-functional launch plans that align product, growth, and the community
  • Define launch tiers and allocate effort accordingly
  • Write and produce all launch assets using AI tools to move fast without sacrificing quality
  • Track adoption and awareness metrics; run honest retrospectives
  • Publish content that builds the product's point of view, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, platform guides, opinion pieces, case studies
  • Turn user wins into compelling proof points
  • Own SEO content strategy to capture organic searches that matter to the audience
  • Represent the product externally at relevant events and online communities
  • Create pitch decks, one-pagers, and positioning materials for the team
  • Build objection-handling guides and FAQ resources
  • Develop onboarding messaging and in-product education content
  • Build a deep understanding of both core user types, experts and community managers
  • Run regular user interviews, surveys, and win/loss conversations
  • Map the competitive landscape and distill it into clear positioning inputs
  • Track industry trends in professional communities, expert platforms, and live learning

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years in product marketing with real ownership of positioning, messaging, and launches
  • Early-stage product or startup experience, you've worked where the product, audience, and messaging were all still being figured out, and you thrived
  • AI-first working style: you use AI tools to research faster, draft quicker, and produce better assets, as genuine daily practice
  • A genuine storyteller: you can take a complex, multi-sided product and find the single narrative that makes someone immediately get why it matters
  • Strong, versatile writer across formats: blog posts, emails, landing pages, LinkedIn, one-pagers, pitch decks
  • Proven track record of owning product launches end-to-end
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, you make decisions with incomplete information, ship, and course-correct
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic
  • Understanding of the NA & Europe market.
  • Experience marketing a two-sided or multi-sided platform
  • Background in professional communities, creator economy, or live learning
  • Experience building or repositioning a product in an undefined category
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, CRM tools, and marketing automation

BENEFITS
  • First-mover advantage on a greenfield product, the positioning, voice, and GTM playbook you build will define how this product is understood
  • The rare opportunity to shape a new product's brand from within an established, scaled tech company
  • Direct collaboration with a cross-functional product team where your work influences direction, not just execution
  • Exposure to a fast-moving product at the intersection of professional networking, live video, and community
  • Clear path for marketing leadership growth
  • Remote-based work environment  with occasional visits to office if/when needed
  • Social and medical insurance
  • Great working environment
  • Internal career growth opportunities
