700Apps is seeking a dedicated and strategic Product Owner to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind product vision and implementation, ensuring that our product delivers maximum value to our stakeholders and customers. You will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, managing the product backlog and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Create and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business goals and customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing clear direction to the development team and ensuring tasks are understood and actionable
- Actively engage with customers and users to gather feedback and insights that inform product development
- Monitor product performance and user engagement metrics, leveraging data for informed decision-making and prioritization
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment throughout the product lifecycle
- Continuously assess and optimize processes to enhance product delivery and team efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
- Proven experience in managing a product backlog and working with Agile development teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate product vision and requirements clearly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a customer-centric approach
- Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or similar
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration across different teams
