Job Summary
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, defining priorities, and ensuring the successful delivery of valuable product capabilities that solve real business problems for our customers.
You will act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams — translating business needs into clear product requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that Dafater's solutions continue to deliver exceptional value in a competitive SaaS market.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product lifecycle from understanding customer needs and business objectives through planning, prioritization, development, release, and continuous improvement.
- Define, maintain, and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities while ensuring alignment with Dafater's business strategy and customer expectations.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements, customer feedback, and market insights into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives while ensuring efficient delivery with the development team.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery and alignment across all teams.
- Analyze product performance, user behavior, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous product enhancements.
- Support decision-making through market research, competitor analysis, and data-driven insights to improve product competitiveness and customer experience.
- Act as the product advocate by ensuring that delivered solutions meet customer needs, solve business problems, and provide measurable value to users.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or similar roles within SaaS / ERP / Software companies.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and collaboration with development teams.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer orientation with the ability to understand and prioritize user needs.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to collaborate, influence, and manage different perspectives.
- Experience with ERP solutions or business applications is highly preferred.
