We are seeking a Product Owner/Scrum Master with expertise in large-scale data projects, multi-database environments, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multi-regional teams, managing Snowflake developers, and driving Agile methodologies to ensure seamless execution of data-driven initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to oversee the end-to-end data pipeline while aligning with business and functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of Snowflake developers, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables.
- Write clear, concise user stories and ensure their successful development and implementation.
- Collaborate with developers to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.
- Oversee the end-to-end data pipeline, ensuring data integrity, transformation, and accessibility across systems.
- Understand business and functional requirements to drive effective data solutions.
- Collaborate with multi-regional teams, aligning stakeholders and resolving cross-regional dependencies.
- Protect teams from overcommitment and scope creep while aiding in estimation and task breakdown.
- · Analyze burndown charts, sprint velocity, and portfolio planning tools to drive execution improvements.
- · Identify and remove blockers, optimize workflows, and enhance team productivity.
- · Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.
- · Ensure adherence to privacy, security, and data governance policies while managing project deliverables.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Organizational Development, or related fields.
- Proven experience working on large-scale data projects with multiple databases.Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; Scrum Master certification (CSM/PSM) is a plus.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of Snowflake developers.
- Experience writing and refining user stories, ensuring successful delivery by development teams.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end data pipeline, including ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with distributed, multi-regional teams and managing dependencies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data-driven insights and make strategic decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills to handle project roadblocks effectively.
- Ability to work independently, as well as lead a team in complex, non-routine situations.
- Experience in project evaluation, KPI measurement, and iterative improvements.
