The Opportunity

Product/Brand Management (P&L/Revenue Accountability) work focuses on driving branding and marketing strategies that result in successful products and brands, including managing the product/brand P&L (e.g., budgeting, expenditures, profitability, ROI, etc.) and responsibilities include analyzing potential markets, competitor positioning, and customer buying patterns to project demand and profitability for potential products, key product features and requirements, and favorable timing for product launches.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Receive the latest input on new developments and initiate R&D activities via PCR/CSC requests from a Saudi perspective when a business case is established.
  • Participate in R&D Stenos meetings related to the GIS Dammam factory and review CCRPs on GIS products frequently and trigger activities in production or R&D (GPS) as needed.
  • Support local DtV activities with the local DtV leader and consolidate necessary Type Test Reports (TTR) for orders and during the offering stage.
  • Compile TTRs of GIS products in a format similar to Hitachi Energy-Certificates and support LPM and pre-qualification teams in various pre-qualification activities.
  • Provide technical advice in customer discussions during the offering stage and, if needed, during routine test activities in special cases.
  • Monitor quality cases in the product, suggest improvements, and perform root cause analysis for such cases and develop method statements for customers on several technical aspects.
  • Assist SCM in pre-qualifying new local suppliers when technical advice is needed and deliver presentations to internal and external audiences on GIS products.
  • Explore white spot areas related to the GIS allocated market and organize internal factory audits with global auditors (e.g., GPS), track findings, and ensure resolution and closure.
  • You will be ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience with a strong technical GIS background.
  • Excellent knowledge of HV product portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Good knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong negotiation skills, task management skills, and ability to work independently with a self-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required; Arabic is a plus.
