About our client

Our client is a leading global alternative investment manager based in Abu Dhabi, investing across a broad range of private market strategies. As the firm continues to grow its investment platform and institutional client base, it is looking to make an addition to its Product team within Client Solutions. The position is based full-time in Abu Dhabi.

What the job involves

The Product team sits at the intersection of the firm's clients, investment capabilities and quantitative expertise. It plays a central role in developing new funds and bespoke investment solutions, including separately managed accounts (SMAs), bringing together different strategies and asset classes to meet the objectives of institutional investors.

• Support the development of new funds, SMAs and other bespoke private market investment solutions for institutional clients
• Work closely with quantitative and investment teams to understand client objectives and help translate these into appropriate portfolio and product solutions
• Bring together input from across the firm's private markets capabilities, including private equity, private credit, real assets and other alternative investment strategies
• Coordinate across multiple internal teams to develop the content and materials required to bring new products and solutions to market
• Translate complex portfolio construction, investment and quantitative analysis into clear and commercially relevant messaging
• Partner closely with the Investment Engagement team, equipping them with the product knowledge and materials needed for discussions with institutional investors
• Develop high-quality presentations and product materials, with responsibility for the underlying investment content and narrative rather than presentation design
• Help explain sophisticated investment solutions clearly to clients with different levels of investment expertise
  
  

Who we are looking for

• Experience within private markets or a broader asset management platform
• Strong exposure to alternative investments, whether through product, investment strategy, portfolio construction, investment analysis or a related role
• Experience within a leading alternative investment manager, GP or large institutional asset manager would be particularly relevant
• Strong analytical and numerical capability – the role does not require a quantitative specialist, but candidates must be comfortable working closely with quantitative teams and understanding portfolio construction and investment analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across investment, quantitative and client-facing teams
• A combination of strong IQ and EQ, with the confidence to engage with technical colleagues while communicating sophisticated ideas in a straightforward way
• Willingness to be based full time in Abu Dhabi
